The creator is Brazilian, so the name comes from sinergia, the Portuguese word for synergy. That is why it is spelled with an i instead of the more English-looking y in "synergy."
The name also describes the product idea: Sinergy is built to help you find the people you have the strongest real-world synergy with, whether that becomes love, friendship, or a sense of belonging inside a community.

We start small to protect quality. Launch communities are being defined using three criteria: market density, participant passion, and clarity of identity.
Strong candidates are: CrossFit, running, gamers, practicing Catholics, readers, movie lovers, and evangelical Christians. New communities will be added month by month as the base grows.
The app is free to use. There will be optional premium features - like revealing a high-synergy match that crossed your list, or advanced filters - but the essentials (playing, leveling up, matching) are free and will stay that way.
Yes - and we care a lot that you can. There is a Community Mode: your profile is hidden from the dating pool, the interface changes its tone and focus, and you only see groups and games.

No. Sinergy is for people who want love or friendship based on real affinity. Hookups are not forbidden, but the app is not optimized for that, and people who come in looking only for that will have a bad experience.
We follow privacy law requirements in full. We do not sell data, we do not share with partners beyond what is strictly necessary to operate the product, and you can request full deletion at any time.
